Sad Mad Glad

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

Have you ever been to "Sad"
Are you sad when you are bad
What would it take for you to be glad
On the day when you are sad

I am glad I wear a pad
When I get spanked by dear old Dad
That is a day I get sad
Cause I don’t want him to be mad

When I am sad
I want to be glad
When I am mad
I am sad sad sad

My happy place makes me glad
My wife makes me glad
My poems make me glad
Sad or mad?  Oh no
Find your way to glad

Psychotic

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

I don’t think I’m psychotic
Nor neurotic
Perhaps a bit robotic
I don’t take narcotics

My life is not chaotic
I’m not despotic
I love exotic
I’m full of logic

My eyes are optic
My brain is psychic
I’ve taken a tonic
I don’t smack of demonic

I swim, so I’m aquatic
I’m often patriotic
Sometimes I stray off topic
But only periodic

I’m mostly non-alcoholic
I don’t get near catastrophic
I don’t want to be astronautic
This poem must end -- this is my deposit

Sally Lin Cut Her Chin

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

Sally Lin cut her chin
She used to grin; now she is chagrined
Skin hangs where her chin has been
Some may say it’s her dorsal fin

Her chin will heal
It will, it will
It will likely peel
Now that’s the deal

When she is well
She must not dwell
On what befell
Of her chin tale

She’s only a girl
With a big long curl
And with a swirl
She gives it a twirl
That hides the cut
On Sally Lin’s chin

Boys and Toys

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

I am a boy
And I’m annoyed
I like fun toys
I jump for joy

Some big strong boys
Destroyed my toys
I’m annoyed
They’re not nice boys

I try to repair
I care, I care
It seems unfair
They destroyed what I share

And if I dare
I’d pull their hair
Then they would swear
So I don’t dare

Toys and big boys
I dared to share
What’s become of my toys
They’re in great need of repair

Pretty Girls

I like pretty girls
In little pig tails
And frilly dresses
With pearls

Do girls like me
It’s plain to see
I’m married to one
We were meant to be

My Pickle

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

Once I bought a pickle
I only paid a nickel
I wanted to cut up my pickle

I used a hammer and a sickle

Now this poem may seem fickle
It’s only about my nickel pickle
It would be great if you were tickled
About my nickel pickle
