Exam

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

I took an exam
It was about jam
I had to cram
For this exam

My strawberry jam
And Virginia ham
Tasted better than spam
When I took my exam

Pizza

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

I love pizza
Usually followed by milk of magnesia
They don’t usually give anesthesia
To people who overdose on pizza

I once met General Geneva
He was full of margaritas
He was transferred to Indonesia
Is that near French Polynesia

When you eat too much pizza
You may be due an epidural anesthesia
My friends Lisa and Mia
Often eat a lot of pizza

Pizza never goes with fajitas
Pizza is not found in Pisa
Do divas eat pizza
Do you study yeshiva
Then please don’t eat pizza

The Story of Lucy Anne

© 2015 by P Michael Biggs

Lucy Anne was not a man
She wasn’t Jan
Or part of a Klan
She never held a fan in her hand

She could kick the can
Fry chicken in a pan
Drive the van
And lead the band
These are some things about Lucy Anne

Lucy Anne had a plan
When she dated Dan her man
She never overran
Her main man Dan

Lucy Anne loved Japan
Once she visited the republic of Sudan
She had a short attention span
She never sailed her catamaran

The Beguine she never began
She had a better plan
She could outrun most any man
And she could fix the attic fan

And that is my story of Lucy Anne

When Men Stand Up for Right

© 2015 by P Michael Biggs

When men stand up for right
The world becomes alright
Whatever blight might be in flight
Good men come forth forthright

When men stand up for right
They won’t stand still or sit tight
Good men will fight
They’ll fight for right
They fight in spite of fright

When men stand up for right
The town will rest at night
For right brings light
On a very dark night
Good men always stand for right

Sunday Morning

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

It is Sunday morning
Happy, happy morning
I’m not giving a warning
Nor a scorning
Just wishing you a happy Sunday morning

It’s a lovely day
We’re away from the fray
We’re at the bay
And we say “Yeah”

It’s a lovely day
This beautiful Sunday morning
We've prayed and now we play
Thank God it’s not storming
On this lovely Sunday morning

Blue Shoe

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

Who knew
There was a blue shoe
I didn’t have a clue
Is this a coup

Do blue shoes have glue
Do they resist dew
Would they turn to goo
Do they resist shampoo

Do you get in a canoe
When wearing a blue shoe
Can you see thru
A blue shoe

Would people in Peru

Old

© 2014 by P Michael Biggs

When I get old
I’ll put life on hold
I’ll try not to scold
Or be too bold

If I have gold
When I am old
I’ll not be told
How to spend my gold

When I am old
My bread will mold
I’ll probably catch cold
And sometimes lose control

When it’s time to fold
My home will be sold
I’ll do as I’m told
May God bless my soul
