What do you do with a man in need?
You could bandage his wounds so he doesn’t
bleed
You could buy him a burger and let him feed
If he’s in chains he could be freed
What do you do with a man in need?
A man like him needs help, all agreed
To men like him we should pay heed
We don’t need to know all of his misdeeds
He’s a needy man, a man in need
If I could plant just one good seed
Then perhaps I have done one good deed
Where, I wonder will that good deed lead
Depends mostly upon his inner creed
Away he goes, this man in need
His dirty coat was once fine tweed
His pace is slow with not much speed
I say a prayer for this man in need
