Life Is a Teacher

Life is a teacher.

Are we learners?

The lessons go beyond

how to be an earner.

We learn coping, and growing,

reaping and sowing,

wrong and right,

weak and might.

Yes … life is a teacher

Life teaches bad from good,

and what we should

and should not do.

And what is true

and how we too

can win and come through

and do and undo

all we go through.

Now when we learn,

we learn to discern,

and to take our turn,

and what to spurn,

and where to turn.

Yes, life is a teacher,

and if you are a believer

in life as a teacher

then become a seeker

and learn from this teacher,

this wild mystical creature

called life.
