A Simple Hello

It often starts with a simple
‘Hello, my name is ….’
And we’re off on an adventure
called friendship, or love.
Sometimes both.
If the spark of friendship flies,
and if our souls are ignited,
magic happens.
Adventures begin.
Conversations extend into the night.
Laughter erupts.
Letters, phone calls, texts pour forth.
All because of one simple ‘Hello.”
I like ‘hello’
